While we offer a wide range of bursting disc
designs, the reverse buckling design is now
well established as the best solution provider.
One design of reverse buckling disc opens
in such a way that the disc is retained by
a single hinge. Although the design is well
proven, there are instances where the open
disc height can be a problem e.g. when installed
directly below the inlet of a larger safety
relief valve. To overcome this, we have designed
the Marston RBX disc, a cross cut, scored reverse
buckling disc. The RBX disc reduces the open
height by almost 50% providing yet another
solution for safety relief valve protection.
